Job Overview

As a Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering food service products to multiple customers each day. You will operate a refrigerated box truck, provide excellent customer service, and represent Northern Haserot professionally at every delivery. You will work closely with customers, sales representatives, and other Northern Haserot team members to ensure timely, accurate, and dependable deliveries.

Schedule

• Onsite position
• Monday through Friday
• Start time: 5:30 AM or 6:00 AM
• Home every evening

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and Samsara software.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and process customer payments as required.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Represent Northern Haserot in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently push and pull up to 250 pounds using a two-wheel dolly.
• Ability to lift up to 90 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to enter and exit the vehicle cab multiple times throughout the day.
• Ability to climb into the truck as needed to access cargo.
• Ability to safely navigate stairs, narrow doorways, and hallways while delivering products.

Job Requirements

• Valid driver's license is appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle inspection procedures.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT medical qualification requirements.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with company standards.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
